A Message From Our Founder

Open Play Advisory was founded with one mission in mind: to give college athletes the financial tools and support they need to thrive—on and off the field.

I’m a licensed CPA with years of experience in high-level finance and accounting, but I didn’t start this firm to be just another tax guy. I started Open Play because I saw a gap that was getting bigger by the day. As NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) deals exploded, student-athletes were suddenly earning real money—but without real financial guidance. From taxes and multi-state compliance to budgeting and saving, many athletes and their families were being thrown into the deep end with no playbook.
